THE first eat:Minehead festival took place on Saturday - bringing more than 10,000 people to town.
The event, from the eat:Festivals team, saw 14,000 people visit local food and drink retailers to buy some tasty treats.
The events take place elsewhere in Somerset, including Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton, and Wellington.
Organiser Sarah Milner Simonds, said:
"The feedback following the festival from visitors and producers have been overwhelmingly positive.
"Saturday went very well with a safe, welcoming festival enjoying a big crowd in some great autumnal weather.
"The local producers have all reported back that they had a brilliant day's trade and we saw that many local businesses were busy all day too.
"We hope to make this into a new annual event in Minehead and look forward to working with Minehead BID to deliver another festival on Saturday 10 October 2020."
