SUPPORTERS of a cancer charity that raises funds for a children's ward at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital, have handed over their latest cheque.
The Marion Evered Trust held a presentation evening to celebrate another year of successful fundraising for the Oak children’s ward.
Linda Whiteford represented the ward to receive the £12,000 cheque.
The cash will go towards the refurbishment of a play area, a ventilator and a machine to help locate veins that are difficult to see.
A spokesman for the Marion Evered Trust said: "The trust would like to thank all those who helped and supported them at various fundraising events throughout the year."
