COLLISION: The incident which occurred this morning
A CYCLIST was taken to hospital this morning (Friday) following a collision with a car.
The incident took place on the B3227 near Cotford St Luke at around 8.15am.
He was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
A South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust spokesman said: "We were called at around 8.15am about a collision reportedly involving a cyclist and a car on the B3227 near Cotford St Luke.
"One of our ambulance crews treated a male patient at the scene and conveyed him to hospital for further care."
