NEW confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in TWO Somerset districts in the latest 24-hour period.
The positive tests were in Sedgemoor and South Somerset.
There were no coronavirus-related deaths in the county council area in the period to 5pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The two new cases take the total of positive tests in the county to 1,281.
The results include results from lab and hospital tests as well as in the community.
The latest positive test result totals for for each district are:
123 in Mendip; 391 in Sedgemoor; 436 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 331 in South Somerset.
