THERE have been two more new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the latest figures from Public Health England.
The figures relate to the 24 hours to 5pm yesterday (Thursday) and are for the county council area.
Over the same period, NHS England reports that there were no coronavirus-related deaths in the county.
Of the two new cases, one was in the Somerset West and Taunton area, and one in the South Somerset district.
It means the total number of positive lab, hospital and community tests in Somerset has risen to 1,283.
The positive test result totals for each district are:
123 in Mendip; 391 in Sedgemoor; 437 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 332 in South Somerset.
