FIREFIGHTERS believe a blaze which damaged a caravan, van and a tree was 'started deliberately'.
The incident, in The Roman Way, Glastonbury, was reported at just after 8.20pm last night (August 3).
Two fire appliances, from Glastonbury and Street, were immediately sent to the scene.
"On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that a caravan, a van and a tree were well alight and got crews to work to extinguish the fire using compressed air foam and breathing apparatus," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"A light portable pump was set up to pump water from a nearby river to the fire.
"Police were informed as the Incident Commander believed the fire to have been started deliberately."
