A LAKELAND restaurant has now re-opened.

Simon Rogan’s Henrock Restaurant and Henrock Lounge & Conservatory at Linthwaite House is providing a range of socially distanced dining experiences, including dinner, Sunday Lunch, afternoon tea and all-day dining options, alongside the hotel re-opening for overnight guest stays since July 31.

Following Henrock’s closure in March, the team reopened with a unique pop-up terrace experience on July 9 to usher in a return to a full array of dining experiences later in the month.

During lockdown itself executive chef Tom Barnes working alongside Simon Rogan set to work devising new menus for guests to enjoy as they take in the stunning views from this unique vantage point.

Simon and Tom hope their guests will agree their time has been well spent as dining makes a welcome return.

Simon Rogan said: "We’ve used lockdown as an opportunity to prepare, to devise new dishes and to train our team in new procedures, all to ensure we can deliver the same high standards we are known for and to be able to welcome our guests back safely.

"Being able to welcome diners back brings the place back to life, ultimately restaurants and hotels are about people, about interactions, about sharing.

"Obviously, there are restrictions in place but seeing people back at Henrock at Linthwaite enjoying our food against this stunning Lakeland backdrop is a great feeling."
