Latest Covid-19 cases in Somerset
THERE were three positive Covid-19 test results in one Somerset district in the latest figures.
All three cases were in Mendip, with no new confirmed cases in Sedgemoor, Somerset West & Taunton and South Somerset.
The total number of coronavirus cases confirmed in the county council area has now risen to 1,398.
There has been a steady rise in cases in recent weeks, largely put down to increased testing.
The district totals stand at Mendip 162; Sedgemoor 414; Somerset West & Taunton 463; and South Somerset 359.
