THERE have been FIVE positive Covid-19 tests in Somerset in the latest figures.
There were new confirmed cases of the virus in three of the four districts in the county council area.
The increases were in Mendip (two new cases) and Somerset West & Taunton (one) and South Somerset (two).
There were no new cases in Sedgemoor in the 24-hour period to 5pm yesterday (Monday).
It means the total number of recorded cases in the county now stands at 1,479.
The district totals are Mendip 184; Sedgemoor 429; Somerset West & Taunton 489; and South Somerset 377.
