A person in Mendip has died after contracting Covid-19
THE latest Covid-19 related death in Somerset takes the total number of people in the county who have succumbed to the disease to 184.
The latest figures show a person has died in the Mendip district within 28 days of testing positive for the coronavirus.
The person was the 28th to die from the virus in Mendip since the start of the pandemic, according to official figures.
Total deaths from Covid-19 in the other three Somerset districts are 64 in Sedgemoor; 49 in South Somerset; and 43 in Somerset West and Taunton.
