AN inquest has been opened into the death of a man who died in a house fire in Llangollen.
Firefighters from Wrexham, Chirk, Llangollen, Ruabon and Corwen fought the blaze in the three-storey property in Chapel Street on December 3.
At a brief hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said that the body of 73-year-old Errol Dennis Falconer was found inside the building.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out but a decision on the cause of death has been deferred pending toxicology tests,
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
