TWO people and a dog were rescued from floodwater by firefighters
Crews from Taunton and Ilminster were called out after their vehicle became stranded in floodwater yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
The firefighters 'commandeered a small boat to carry out the rescue operation and led the couple and their pooch to safety.
