All’s wool that ends wool for 26 sheep who needed to be rescued from a flooded field in Devon.
Last week's torrential rain resulted in the sheep becoming stranded in their field that had become flooded by the River Stour.
Wading teams from Sturminster Newton and Blandford fire stations worked on the unusual challenge with a specialist animal rescue officer from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
They successfully managed to rescue the sheep by boat, calling it 'a water rescue to remember!'
We're sure that the sheep were keen to say 'thank ewe' after their baaaaaa-d experience.
