WORK starting today (Monday, November 8) on a footways scheme in a Somerset town are set to last for six weeks.
The project in Yeovil is among seven starting across the county today.
Here's a list of the works taking place this week.
MONDAY (November 8).
COMBE STREET, YEOVIL: footways scheme, lasting 30 working days.
GODNEY ROAD, GLASTONBURY: installation of pump unit, 10 days.
LIPE HILL LANE, TRULL: installation of concrete foul drainage pipe, 10 days.
URGASHAY, WEST CAMEL: drainage works, 10 days.
WOOD LANE, STOGUMBER: connection to foul drain, five days.
PITWAY HILL, SOUTH PETHERTON: local drainage, five days.
HARTSWELL, WIVELISCOMBE: minor drainage works, three working days.
TUESDAY (November 9).
NORTH PARADE, FROME: machine patching works, one day.
