POLICE have intercepted "a large amount of drugs and cash" heading for Chard.
The Chard Neighbourhood Policing team searched for the suspected offender after they ran off.
They were discovered along with a bag containing the drugs and money.
A South Somerset Neighbourhood Policing spokesperson said: "The Chard Neighbourhood Team have recently managed to intercept a large amount of drugs and cash on it's way to Chard.
"Neighbourhood and response officers searched for the offender who ran off and successfully found them and the bag containing drugs and money.
"They have also recovered property stolen from a business in Chard and seized a vehicle involved in the crime."
