WELLINGTON Pantomime Group is holding its annual meeting on April 4 and is inviting everyone to come along and support the group, including anyone thinking about helping in next year's production.

At the meeting, as well hearing about the success of the group's production of Dick Whittington' in January, members of Wellington Arts Association can also stand for positions in the committee.

Those wishing to offer their help on backstage tasks including costume creation, set building and prop making for next year's show are also welcome to register their interest.

There will be also the presentation of a cheque for the charity Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment.

This year audiences donated over £1,700, which marks one of the highest ever amounts for an audience charity collection at a Wellington Pantomime.

The meeting starts at 7.15pm at Wellington Arts Centre, Eight Acre Lane, and will also include a DVD film of the show.

It is hoped the screening will be finished by 10.30pm.
