SOUL diva Joss Stone, whose mother is in the process of moving her recording studio and music academy to the former Cunningham's restaurant in Wellington, has landed a role in a new comedy film being shot in Torbay this summer.
The 20-year-old singer will also write and perform the soundtrack to the movie called Snappers.
It tells the story of a lesbian actress pursued by paparazzi while shooting a film on the English Riviera.
The film's director, George Bamby, made contact with Stone by turning up on her doorstep and pretending to be a member of the paparazzi.
