TWO brothers from Doniford will be taking on Exmoor's gruelling Ironman challenge to help boost funds for the Children's Hospice South West and British Heart Foundation.
Chris and Ben Miller will take on the 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run alongside the 1,500 other athletes on June 15.
Chris hopes to raise £1,000 for the charities, which are both close to his heart.
He said: "The children's hospice has always been one of my charities.
"And we decided on the British Heart Foundation after our dad was fitted with a pace maker a few years ago - so it's a charity that's close to the whole family really."
For Chris this will be his second competition, with Ben taking on the challenge for the first time.
Chris added: "I think when Ben saw me doing it last year he thought he could do it to, so we've been training together."
