INCIDENTS in which dead birds were found lined up against a wall in Taunton town centre could be “linked and deliberate”, police said.

On Monday, September 11 around 20 dead pigeons were lined up against the wall under the bridge at Taunton Station.

After several reports, Avon and Somerset Police issued an update yesterday (Sunday, September 18) and a spokesperson said: “We are aware of multiple reports of dead birds being found specifically around Station Road and under the train bridges.

“There is a suspicion that these incidents are linked and are deliberate.

“We have been monitoring the Facebook groups across the town and the discussion around it.
