POLICE officers have come to the aid of a motorcyclist who fell off his bike in a rural location on the Brendon Hills.
Officers from the Williton Station were able to locate the male using the What3Words app, often used to help pinpoint specific areas.
After they arrived, police transported the motorcyclist to a safe location, where he was then treated by an ambulance crew.
A spokesperson from the West Somerset and Taunton Neighbourhood Policing team said: "Local PCSO's and special constables from the Williton Station were at a multi-agency response for a motorcyclist who fell off in a rural woodland location on the Brendon Hills.
"Officers assisted locating the male using the W3W app (what3words) and then the transport of the male to a safe location where he could be treated by ambulance crew."
