A spokesperson said: “We have an Opening Special this sunday as a thank you to our loyal car boot community with a pitch costing just £5 per vehicle making it a fantastic opportunity to declutter those attics, garages, unwanted goods to make some much-needed cash for the Easter Holidays.

“Regular prices are £8 per car, £12 - £15 per van, which is still great value for a quality event.

“The buying public is charged £2 per vehicle, with the person on foot £1 per adult with children admitted free.

“Due to the busyness of our events and undergoing risk assessments with animal welfare organisations, we do not allow dogs into our venue.

“We as event organisers are dog owners ourselves but take health and safety seriously to ensure the safety of all visitors and four-legged friends. However, assistance dogs are admitted with relevant paperwork.

“The site has excellent parking facilities including disabled, just ask our friendly stewards on arrival, who will get you parked up safely and as close to the car boot action as possible."
