Wellington'S Richardsons petrol station could become an horrific eyesore if it remains disused for too long.
Councillors at Wellington Town Council's meeting on Monday expressed their sympathy for everyone who lost their jobs with the shock closure of the company's businesses at the end of last month. Cllr Valerie Byrne described it as "a tragedy for the town".
And chairman Cllr Bob Bowrah said: "The filling station in Longforth Road is standing there empty, gathering cobwebs already."
