RESIDENTS in Lillebonne Close, Wellington, are outraged that mini goalposts promised to go in the nearby park have become full size.
After being consulted by Taunton Deane Council on equipment for the teen area off Lillebonne Close, Wellington Town Council requested mini goalposts to go away from homes so that people would be encouraged to keep the ball low to the ground and not hit any houses.
However, the Deane put in full size goalposts and has told the County Gazette this week that it is now having to replace them.
