POLICE in Wellington have called on the public to contact them if they spot trouble in the town, rather than suffering in silence.

The plea from Sgt Richard Caburn came at Wellington Town Council's meeting on Monday night, following complaints about anti-social behaviour problems and people boozing in the streets which went unreported.

Responding to concerns raised in a letter from Baptist minister, Rev Sam Griffiths about problems in Bulford car park, Sgt Caburn said he and his team had received just four calls about trouble there in 128 days.
