A Wellington teenager is jumping for joy after clinching first place in a national show jumping competition.
Laura Scott, 16, of Bovet Street, won her class - 3ft followed by a 3ft 3in jump-off - in the UK Chasers National Finals at Warwick College over the weekend.
The former Court Fields Community School student now works in the laboratories at Swallowfield and faced off tough opposition to win the junior contest last year.
