THE gig Rose celebrates her tenth anniversary this year and will mark the occasion by competing at The Great River Race, London, on Saturday.
The race starts at Ham House, Richmond, and will finish at The Isle of Dogs, covering a distance of 22 miles of the Thames.
A ladies crew will be entering for Cadgwith Gig Club, Rose last having took part in 1997. The race is a fundraising event and if anyone would like to make a donation the club is supporting The Mission For Deep Sea Fisherman and The Children's Hospice, South West.
Donations can be taken to Brenda's Shop, Coverack, or to Emma George, Cadgwith Pilot Gig Club.
