A Devon couple have been shot dead in Thailand after an argument in a restaurant.
Adam Lloyd, 25, thought to live in Torquay and Vanessa Arscott, from Ashburton 24, were killed in the tourist area of Kanchanaburi.
Witnesses said Mr Lloyd had been arguing with a Thai man who later approached the pair in a car and opened fire on him. As Ms Arscott she tried to escape he shot her at close range.
The British couple died on the way to hospital. The gunman escaped.
