THE newly-formed Chard Christmas Lights Advisory Committee is urging a trader from Holyrood Street to join their team.
The committee, which will help the town council decide how to spend over £10,000 on new lights, is asking traders to nominate a representative.
Chairman Dave Bulmer said: "The committee feels it's important to have the views of shop keepers on all aspects of our work, which we hope will have a significant benefit to the business in this part of the town at Christmas."
The committee hopes to add to its numbers to reach a maximum of ten people.
