BURNHAM knocked unbeaten Paulton off the top of the table with this great win at Cassis Close on Saturday.
They had Stuart Walford back in midfield after suspension and Steve Beare, having now decided definitely not to retire, started a match for the first time this season.
During the first 20 minutes, the teams were sizing each other up. A good move by Burnham saw Jason Kilduff put the ball over to Craig Hirons, who headed it back for Kyle McErlain and his shot was saved.
