Taunton Athletic Club has recently become just one of the first three athletic clubs in the whole of the South West to be awarded CLUB MARK status.
The Club Mark certificate is Sport England's (in conjunction with Amateur Athletics Association of England) stamp of approval, which recognizes those clubs that make that special effort to provide the highest possible standards for young athletes.
Club Officers, volunteers and coaches have worked hard over the last 12 months to demonstrate that Taunton AC fulfils the high standards required by Sport England to be awarded the coveted Club Mark status.
It is recognition that the club is a fun, friendly and effective coaching environment for young athletes and with new members joining the club each week it is clear that the athletes agree!
