MICHAEL Parsons gets another chance to boost his growing reputation as Somerset look to stop Nottinghamshire celebrating Totesport League promotion at Taunton today.
The 19-year-old seamer features in a young side and will be looking to build on the 6-30 he took in last week's 50-over practice game against New Zealand.
Taunton-born Parsons had already impressed in the Totesport League this season when he broke an arm in the nets, an injury that put him out for six weeks.
Already sure to finish in the bottom three of the 45-over competition, Somerset again use today's encounter, which started at noon, to test out some of their younger players.
