POLICE have released CCTV images of two men wanted in connection with a late-night robbery in French Weir Park in Taunton.
Both men seen here were pictured shortly before the attack at around midnight on Tuesday, July 12.
A 22-year-old local man was walking through the park when he was approached by two men on bicycles.
The men spoke to the victim for a short time before attacking him, forcing him to the ground with a series of punches and kicks.
The attackers then stole his mobile phone and wallet containing cash, cards and driving licence before making their escape.
The victim suffered a black eye and bruised ribs as a result of the attack.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may recognise those pictured or have any information about the attack.
