It's that time of year again, when &Co., The Brewhouse Young Theatre Company prepare to take to the stage, this year presenting the witty musical 'Around the World in 80 Days'.

The story traces Phileas Fogg's and Passepartout's whistle-stop journey as they try to circumnavigate the world in only 80 days. With bandits and villains around every corner, a hot air balloon ride and a performing elephant, will they make their deadline? Fogg is headed on a frantic, heart pounding round-the-world race that takes our heroes to the world's most enchanting places. Let your imagination soar… &Co. was set up in August 2000, enabling promising talented people between the ages of 14 and 25 to gain experience of theatre production.

The programme provides the opportunity for young people with outstanding talent to become actively involved in the theatre, gaining valuable life skills, while nurturing professional development. Young people are trained in acting, singing, movement, stage management, set and costume design and the technical aspects of putting on a production at the highest level. &Co. provides one of the only opportunities young people have in the area to work with a dedicated team in a professional theatre, providing a valuable insight into the way a professional theatre operates.

Want to get involved? Are you free between the 14th and 26th August? The show has been cast, but there are still vacancies for young people aged between 16 and 25 years to be part of the backstage crew and someone aged between 14 and 25 years to play bass guitar in the band (you must be able to read music). If you are interested please contact Jo Elworthy on (01823) 274608.

The show runs from Tuesday 22nd August to Saturday 26th. Be sure to book you tickets by contacting the brewhouse box office on (01823) 283244.
