A FAMILY fun day takes place in French Weir Park, Taunton, on Sunday from 1-5pm.
The event, organised by Taunton Deane Council, is aimed at getting public input into the refurbishment of the park.
Free activities include wood carving, football coaching, fencing with Wellington Swords, mask making, circus skills, box and bag making, bouncy castle, origami and a silent movie show.
Charged activities are face painting, trampolines, riverboat trips and refreshments.
The Friends of French Weir Park are supporting the event with exhibitions on the history of the park and looking at the future of the park.
Cllr John Clark, Deane executive member for leisure, arts and culture, said: "It promises to be a really good day. I hope as many families and friends of French Weir turn out to enjoy a good old fashioned, fun-filled community event in the park."
