WELLINGTON have been told they must replay their Toolstation League Division One match at home Almondsbury that was abandoned earlier this month.
In heavy rain, referee Larry Cousins blew the final whistle five minutes early with Wellington leading 5-1, but said the result would stand.
However, the league quickly stated he could not make that decision and, at last night's (Thursday) board meeting, ruled the game would have to be played again.
Wellington, who are on course for the title, are likely to react angrily to the decision.
