TAUNTON RFC Ladies are kicking off the season this Sunday with a trip to Cullompton.
The ladies will be looking to start the season strong after a long summer of training and preparation.
This friendly game with the Cullompton 2nds will be a great season opener for both sides.
Taunton Ladies will be entering the RFU’s Inner Warrior league this season and it will be the first proper season for a ladies team in Taunton.
With new kit and sponsors there is very much excitement from all ladies on the team.
For anyone looking to start a new sport this Autumn the ladies train Monday and Wednesday nights from 7pm at the Veritas Stadium, Hyde lane.
Ria Rickward from Taunton RFC Ladies said: "Please feel free to come along, join in and get involved.
"Girls Rugby at Taunton will be starting again on Monday 4th September from 6.30pm for all age ranges ages 12 -18.
"For mums of Daughters wishing to do something together this is an ideal opportunity."
