WELLINGTON players and hopefuls have returned to training with a vengeance, with up to 40 attending the Tuesday and Thursday night sessions overseen by coach John Dunbar.
Club chairman Gerald Jenkinson said: "There has been a good turnout of new and old faces, despite the heat.
"It's good to see a number of younger players returning after taking a year out. Among them are young props Ross Andrews and Ted Keable."
The club is arranging a friendly against Sidmouth for some time in August and another event geared at upping fitness levels will be an away day on the sands at Croyde, rehydrating on the way home.
