SOMERSET County Cricket Club is to contact England versus India Women ticket purchasers over the next 24 hours, following the latest England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) update to this summer's international cricket schedule.

Taunton had been due to host the match on June 25, but while discussions are still ongoing regarding England Women's matches, it has been confirmed that matches will be played without spectators in the ground.

England Men will face Ireland in three One-Day Internationals (on July 30, August 1 and August 4 - all at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton)

That will be followed by a Test series against Pakistan (August 5-9 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester; August 13-17 at Ageas Bowl; and August 21-25 at Ageas Bowl), and a T20 series against the same opponents (on August 28, August 30 and September 1 - all at Old Trafford).

The summer's remaining scheduled international series for England Women - against India and South Africa - and England Men - against Australia - remain postponed, with discussions ongoing to try and reschedule these matches.

The ECB update adds: "Any Men’s or Women’s rescheduled matches will be played without spectators."

Following that confirmation, "ticket purchasers for all originally scheduled men’s and women’s international matches will be contacted by the original host venue with information on the options available to them, including refunds".
